Mike Henson, 62, of Bagdad, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019. Mike served and retired from United States Marine Corps.
He was born on August 1, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri to Eugene and Elsie (Slayton) Henson. He is preceded in death by his mother, Elsie Henson.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Brenda Henson, sons, Michael Henson, and Charles Henson, father, Eugene Henson, brother, Barry (Tammy) Henson, sisters, Cheryl (Wayne) Moallankamp, Brenda (Marcellus) Tebbe, and Chistina (Tommie) May. Mike also leaves behind to cherish his memory 7 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Visitation will be from 2 pm until 6 pm on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the Newcomer, Cremation, Funerals, and Receptions- Southwest Chapel. His Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Saturday, at Newcomer Southwest Louisville Chapel.
