George E. O'Neal Jr., born March 31, 1956, to the union of George E. O'Neal Sr. and Mahaley Farris-O'Neal. He was the second child of eight siblings.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Kelvin O'Neal.
George grew up at Burnett Avenue Baptist Church. He was a graduate of DuPont Manual High School. He was a chef at the Pendennis Club and Spring Street Bar and Grill.
On May 11, 2007 George married his long-time friend and companion Watana Rogers, and they were married for 12 years. After a long-term illness, the Lord called him home on July 27, 2019.
George is survived by his loving and dedicated wife, Watana Rodgers-O'Neal, his children, Meka, Tiffany (Jermaine), LaToya (Ricardo), Keona, Doren, and a special nephew Delfone, his brothers and sisters, Brenda (Dexter), Robert (Angelini), Ronald, James, Lavon, and Lisa (Nytisha), his grandchildren, Errick, TaKobey, TaKorey, Jai'Nyce, JazMaine, Christian, Ricardo II, Romello, Ravionno, Larry, Kaleb, Chace, Jaishawn, Justus, Marley, Deona and Breona, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and an abundance of family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the Newcomer, Cremations and Funerals- Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY). Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 11:00 at the Newcomer Funeral Home Chapel.
