Steven Penick

Steve Penick, 69, of Louisville passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2019. Steve was a graduate of Murray State University 1979 and of Pleasure Ridge Park High School 1968. He was an avid body builder, power lifter, and physique champion. Steve was Mr. Kentucky of 1983 and Mr. Louisville of 1982. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner.

He was born on July 4, 1949 in Louisville, Kentucky to Richard and Marie (Seefried) Penick. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert Penick, sister-in-law Kathy Penick, and niece Jennifer Penick.

Steve is survived by his brothers, Norbert, Richard, and Kenny Penick (Marina), Sister, Janet Penick (Dale Self). He also leaves behind to cherish his memory his niece, Shelby, nephews, David, Bobby Penick, Bobby Keith, great-nieces, Kendra and Jenna Kessler, great-nephews, Matthew, Jonathon, and Zachary Shofner, great-great nephews Reid Shofner, Mason and Bryce Welker.
