Nicholas Marcum "Nick" Risen, 27, of Taylorsville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019.
Nick was known for his good looks, and his witty and funny sense of humor. Nick was an avid UK fan. He loved his family and he would lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Nick will be truly and dearly missed by many.
He was born on July 17, 1991 in Louisville, Kentucky to Kenneth and Tammy Risen. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, James Madison.
Nick is survived by his loving parents, Kenneth and Tammy Risen; sisters, Katelin Madison Risen (Isaiah Willis); Lindsey Risen and Holly Humphries (John); grandmother, Lynette Madison; aunts, Kay Mince (Gary); Paula Frankel (Alan), Robin Etherton (Jay); nieces, Rilee Risen and Berkley Humphries and nephews, Cash Risen and Dylan Humphries.
A memorial visitation will be held at the Holiday Inn Louisville East (1325 South Hurstbourne Parkway, Louisville, KY 40222) on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 10 am - 2 pm.
The family requests that contributions in Nick's memory be made to Centerpoint Recovery Center for Men (530, County Park Road, Paducah, KY 42001)
