Shawn Montgomery, 42, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2019.
He was born on March 28, 1977 in Springfield, Illinois to Roy and Christine Montgomery. He was raised in Madera, CA and made Kentucky his home in 1997. Shawn loved the Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed all sports. He was a hard worker who worked at Tennant for Steve Fryman. Shawn loved his family and friends, he will be deeply missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Ramona Munoz, and brother, Joseph Barrow
Shawn is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Amy Allen, son, Kamren Tylor Montgomery, son, Kristofer Edward Montgomery, daughter, Kloe Christine Montgomery, daughter, Kyndra Sue Montgomery, brothers, Roy (Brenda) Lee Montgomery, Jr. and Alvino Barrows, sisters, Rae Shulda Joann (Mike) Cook, Tresa (Gary) Norris, 6 nephews and 2 nieces.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, April 19 and 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, April 20 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, at the funeral home with cremation services to follow.
