Marcellus Howie, Sr.
July 13, 1977 — February 16, 2019
Marcellus "Black" Howie, Sr., 41, passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, February 16, 2019. He was an entrepreneur and an avid Louisville Cardinals and Buffalo Bills fan.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Andrea "Andy" Howie.
Marcellus is survived by his sons, Marcellus Howie, Jr, and Marquise Howie; daughter, Shayla Howie; sisters, Sharika Howie and Danielle Woods; father, Taylor (Amber Banks) Woods; significant other, Melanie Craft and her children, Cleavon and Cory and a host of other relatives, cousins and friends near and dear to his heart.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 21, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 4pm-6pm with a celebration of Marcellus' life beginning at 6pm.
