Kevin Wayne Allen

Kevin Wayne Allen, of Louisville, 46, passed away on November 18, 2018. He was an avid UofL fan. He enjoyed coaching his children and many other children, in football and basketball and spending time outdoors. Kevin coached for Valley Youth Football for several years. He had a great sense of humor and loved spending time with his family. He will be truly missed by all of the people and children he touched during his life.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Allen; brother, David Allen and grandmother, Juanita Streble.

Kevin is survived by his children, Justin Ward, Kristy (Anthony) Blanford, Devin Allen, Nicholas Allen and Leland Allen; grandchildren, Jayden, Kylee, Lacey and Ella; mother, Sharron (David) Pierce; brothers, Timmy Allen, Jason Pierce, Allen Pierce, Frankie Pierce, Brett Pierce, Timmy Pierce, Devin Pierce, Ivan Pierce, Randy Pierce, Jodie Pierce and Caleb Pierce; sister, Erin Harper; grandfather, Roy Streble and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 25, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 12pm-6pm. A celebration of Kevin's life will be Monday, November 26, 2018, beginning at 11am at the chapel of the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Hebron Cemetery, 4766 N Preston Hwy Shepherdsville, KY 40165.
