Barbara "Joann" (Chastain) Cash

Barbara "JoAnn" (Chastain) Cash, 87, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018. She was a retired bookkeeper for D.F. Wright Plumbing and a member of Sellersburg Church of Christ.

She was born on February 14, 1931, in Campbellsburg, Indiana, to the late Paul and Violet (Walton) Chastain. JoAnn was also preceded in death by her husband, William Cash; brother, Paul Chastain; daughter-in-law, Barbara Cash; and nephew, Michael Prather.

JoAnn is survived by her children, Donna Farish (Richard) and David Cash; sister, Marilyn Prather; grandchildren, Bryan Farish, Jenna Fowler (Philip), and Kristen Leppert (Bob); and great-grandchildren, Andy, Lizzy, and Isaiah.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 26, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Saturday after 9:00 a.m. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery.
