Mary Helen Elliott

Mary Helen Elliott, age 75, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018. Mary was a 1961 graduate of Ahrens High School was a member of FRA. She retired after 30 years of service in 2003 with Jefferson County Public Schools with food services. Mary was active in the school system, especially being a band parent for her children. She was a Methodist by faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Elliott; and her parents, Leslie Ward, Jr. and Anna Belle Hoagland Ward.

Mary is survived by her loving children, Mary Suzanne Clouse and Gregory Lewis (Leann) Clouse; grandchildren, Stephen Burns (Kristen), Robyn Witty (Keith), Genevieve Clouse, and Amberley Clouse; great-grandchildren, Zachary Burns, Olivia Burns, Jameson Witty and Eliott Witty; siblings, Shirley Hulse and James Ward; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. A celebration of Mary's life will be 11am Wednesday, October 17th at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery.
