Diane Ruth Frye

Diane Ruth (Peterson) Frye, age 81 of Louisville, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2018. Diane worked for Rice Stix and Ralston Purnia in St. Louis, MO, was a homemaker and was employed for Jefferson County Public Schools, Louisville, KY (Wagner, Eastern and Westport Middle School). Diane was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church serving as a deacon and elder and was active in the kid's club, WOW and VBS. She belonged to numerous clubs and organizations (bridge, pinochle, tennis, leader in Bible Study Fellowship)

She was born on November 5,1936, in St.Louis, Missouri to the late Jerome and Ruth (Lange) Peterson. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Jacqueline.

Diane is survived by her dedicated husband of 62 years, Harry Bernard Frye Jr; children Richard Frye, Thomas Frye(Paula), Karen Turner, Denise Frye; Granddaughters, Ashlee Strong(Josh), Allison Turner(Tyler), Avery Turner; Great Grandsons, Abram, Titus, Owyn and Syrus.

Her memorial service will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 10200 Shelbyville Road, Louisville, KY 40223, Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 2:00 pm with a reception following the service.

The family request contributions in Diane's memory be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church or
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana.
