Reverend Kenneth White, 71, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018. He served in the Army National Guard and was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. He had a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, was an excellent marksman, and an avid biblical student and teacher. He obtained his Doctor of Divinity from Faith Bible College. He founded and pastored several churches in Kentucky and especially enjoyed ministering to the seniors in his community.
He was born on December 21, 1946 in Louisville, Kentucky to Raymond and Connie (Jaggers) White. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter and son-in-law, Teresa & Brian Kirkland and his former wife, Donna Jaynes White.
Kenny is survived by his loving wife of 8 years, Freda L. White, daughter, Laura Flamini, daughter, Pamela White, daughter, Michelle (Scott) Bruner, son, Jason (Vanessa) White, son, Jonathan (Ashley) White, 17 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, sister, Cathy (Lamar) Tomes, sister, Donna Collins, and his faithful service dog, Buddy.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am, visitation 2 hours prior on Wednesday October 3, 2018, at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 1403 S. Park Rd, with burial to follow at Lone Hill United Baptist Church Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
