Roy Everett Wiley, Jr.

Roy Everett "Junior" Wiley, Jr. was born October 1, 1926, in Etowah, TN. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy E. Wiley, Sr.; mother, Obelia Wiley; step-mother, Jessie Wiley; brother, JB Wiley and step-sister, Geneva James.

Roy was united in marriage to Earlina on July 17, 1948. Roy dedicated his life to Jehovah and was baptized August 25, 1960. He faithfully serve Jehovah until his death. He truly loved Jehovah.

Roy retired from General Electric in 1987. He was a very loving and caring husband and father. He was an excellent provider for his wife and six children.

Roy is survived by his wife of 70 years, Earlina Wiley; children, Regina Carter, Roy (Lynn) Wiley, III, Phyllis (Herbert) Scott, Geraldine Smith, Deborah Wiley and Toni (Robert) Wilson; brother, Lawrence Clayton; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, August 17, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 6pm-8pm. A memorial service for Roy will be Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Portland Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1630 Muhammad Ali Blvd., Louisville, KY 40211 beginning at 3pm.
