Jacqueline Marie "Jackie" Hughes, 32, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2018. She loved going to the beach and being a mom to her two beautiful daughters.
She was born on June 26, 1986 in Louisville, Kentucky.
Jackie is survived by her mother, Rosemary (James) Slaughter (Scott); father, Harold Hughes; daughters, Avery Popp and Reagan Phelps; siblings, Hunter Hughes, Christina Slaughter, Nick Hughes (Jess), and Dannielle Slaughter (Tom); grandmother, Thelma Hughes; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be from 3 PM to 6 PM Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Monday after 12 Noon. Her Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 PM on Monday, August 6, 2018 in the chapel at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jackie's memory may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Ronald McDonald House. To leave a special message for the family, please click on the "Share Memories" icon at the top of the page.
