Bob Vance, 95, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on June 8, 2018. Bob was a proud U.S. Army Air Corps Veteran of WWII.
Bob was born on April 22, 1923, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Garnett and Pearl (Garrity) Vance. He was also preceded in death by his son, Larry Vance; brother, Garnett Vance, Jr.; grandson, Jacob Vance;and a great granddaughter, Aubree Vance.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 75 years, Dorothy M.(Ragland) Vance; children, Robert (Diane) Jr., daughter-in-law, Brenda Jo Vance(Floyd McKiddy), Richard (Cathy), Kenneth (Pam), Donald (Sharon), Kevin(Diana), Jerry(Jami) and Gary(Ann); 23 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren all to cherish his memory.
Bob's family will receive friends from 3pm to 8 pm Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). His Funeral Ceremony will be held Wednesday at 1pm also at the funeral home.
Burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hosparus of Louisville or The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's.
