Vanessa Paige Powell

Vanessa Paige Powell, 28, entered into Heaven on May 19, 2018. Paige was a free spirit. She was loving, creative, energetic, and full of life. When she was around, she lit up a room with her unique laugh and bright smile. Paige was a great friend and often offered a listening ear (when she herself, was not talking) and carried everyone's burdens in her heart. Paige was always outgoing and known as the "fun aunt" and loved all kids as her own. Family was everything to Paige. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She wanted everyone to treat those less fortunate with compassion and non-judgment. Despite all of her tribulations, Paige had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and he was her King. It was very important to her for everyone to have a personal relationship with God. Paige was a living testimony that God never gives up on us. Ultimately, she would want us to remember God's promise (Genesis 28:15).

Paige is survived by her parents, David and Bonnie Powell; siblings, Stefani (Tommy Telando) Powell Coy, Tommy Powell and Misty (KJ) Vale; nieces and nephews, Brianna, Ethan, Cheyann, Maleaha, Thomas, Adrianna and Hudson; Josh Hurtgen the love of her life; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her fellow "Brick Chicks".

Visitation will be Thursday, May 24, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 12pm-8pm and Friday, May 25, 2018 from 9am to 1pm. A celebration of Paige's life will be Friday, May 25, 2018, beginning at 1pm.

Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery, 10917 Dixie Hwy, Valley Station, KY.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy can be made to the family, so that they can provide Paige with a dignified celebration of life.
