William J. "Bill" Maupin, 97, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 13, 2018 surrounded by his family.
Bill was born on October 22, 1920 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Charles and Florence (Farmer) Maupin. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 75 years, Louise Maupin, son William J. "Joe" Maupin, II, grandson William J. Maupin, III and five siblings.
He was a successful businessman in Louisville, KY and Vero Beach, FL, Bill was also a Master Mason Shriner and a 32nd Degree of the Scottish Rite.
Left to cherish his memories are his children, Flo Trinkle (John), Michael Maupin (Debbie), Pat Hogan (Jim), Tina Maupin-West and Tony Maupin (Dina) ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243).
His funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Friday, May 18, 2018 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
