Peggy E. Rueff (nee) "Huff", 82, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on April 25, 2018.
Peggy was born on August 28, 1935, Louisville , Kentucky to the late Enos and Elizabeth (Stowers) Huff. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. Rueff, Sr. and two brothers, Leon Huff and Richard Huff,
Peggy is survived by her children, Eric Alexander (Alicia), Richard Rueff (Melissa), Paul Rueff (Casey) and Anne Marie Elder; grandchildren, Heather, Paul, Rachel, Jeff "Buddy", Charlie, Hannah, Hollis, Joseph, Stephen and Nicholas; and nine great-grandchildren.
Peggy volunteered for eight years at the Ronald McDonald house as well as a member of the St. Joseph's Sewing Society for ten years, and was also President of the society from 2002-2003. Peggy enjoyed being a part of many different Bridge Clubs and tournaments, most of all Peggy loved her church very much, St. Albert The Great Catholic Church, in which all four of her children attended.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Albert The Great Catholic Church on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 11 a.m. There will be a private family burial at Cave Hill Cemetery.
In loving memory of Peggy, memorial donations can be made to St. Joseph's Orphanage or The Wounded Warriors Project.
The family of Peggy, would like to give a special thank you to the Palliative Care Unit at Park Tower, Baptist East Hospital for their love, care and compassion that they provided to Peggy during her last week there.
