Robert Lee Munsey, 65, of Louisville, KY passed away on April 24, 2018. Spending time with his family meant the world to him. Robert loved coloring with his little princess, Abby and they enjoyed reading books together. He loved cats, dogs and kids.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roxie and Nellie Munsey; brother, John Munsey and special aunt, Billie LaFever.
Robert is survived by his wife, Barbara Munsey; children, Lea Ann (Bubby) Munsey Powell, Justin Munsey and Cory Munsey; granddaughter, Abigail Munsey; grandsons, Daniel Munsey, Matthew Munsey and Lucas Munsey; great-grandson; Liam Munsey; brother, Roxie (Donna) Munsey; best friend, James Patterson and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, April 28, 2018 from 11am-5pm with a celebration of Robert's life beginning at 5pm.
A graveside service will be Sunday, April 29, 2018, at Cove Hollow Cemetery, Nolin Dam Road, Mammoth Cave, KY beginning at 3pm (EST).
