January 16, 1965 — April 13, 2018
Debbie (Pierce) Leasure, 53, of New Albany, Indiana, went to be with her heavenly father on Friday, April 13, 2018. She had been a health care worker with several agencies in the local area.
She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Pierce.
Debbie is survived by her former husband and caretaker, Michael Scott; mother, Anita Pierce; sister, Donna Nicholson; brother, Gary Pierce (Tammy); two sons, Donald Woods and Jason Woods; nephews, Douglas Standiford (Delana), Danny Standiford (Jennifer) and Dustin Pierce; along with several great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
The family would like to thank Pleasant Home Southern Baptist Church, Hosparus and Fresenius Dialysis for their help and support.
