Deborah Lynn (Tweedy) Black

Deborah Lynn "Debbie" (Tweedy) Black, 54, loving wife and mother, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on April 4, 2018.

She was born on August 22, 1963, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to Lucille (Wilcox) Tweedy and the late George Tweedy. Along with her father, Debbie was also preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph and John Tweedy.

In addition to her mother, Debbie is survived by her husband of 17 years, Tony Black; sons, Shane Powell (Kim), Anthony Black, and Matthew Black; brothers, Thomas Tweedy (LuAnn), Philip Tweedy (Karen), Gregory Tweedy (Kathy), Christopher Tweedy (Felinza), and Anthony Tweedy (Beth); granddaughter, Kayla, with baby brother, Logan, on the way; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 9, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with her Funeral Service taking place at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
