Michael Jetson (Mike) Loman, 66, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018. Mike was a proud veteran of the United States Marines and Navy and was known as a simple man who loved fishing, adopting animals, and collecting movies and music.
He was born on January 3, 1952, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Harold O. Loman and Jacqueline (Hockersmith) Nance.
Mike is survived by his wife of 24 years, Rose Ann (Reese) Loman; children, Tim and Joshua Wolfe; stepchildren, Gina Trent and Vicki Guernsey; 8 grandchildren; and siblings, Darrell Loman, Marge Nicklemede, and Clarence Nance.
Memorial Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Memorial Service with military honors will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday in the chapel of the funeral home.
