Anita Young, 82, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on February 25, 2018.
She retired from G.E. after 43 years of service. Anita was a Baptist by faith and was an avid gardener.
She was born on May 29, 1935 in Bowling Green, Kentucky to the late Walter and Ruby (Cole) Kessinger. She was also preceded in death by her husband Hughie Young and sister Betty Kessinger.
Anita is survived by her daughter, Anita Elaine Williamson (Roger), son, Hughie Steve Young, four grandchildren; Amanda Dewees (Nick), Kristi Salerno (Kenny), Jennifer Williamson, Justin Chilton, four great-grandchildren, step-children; Jewell, Sandy, Debbe, and Denver. She is also survived by her brothers Howard Kessinger (Joyce) and Kenny Kessinger (Connie).
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243). A celebration of Anita's life will follow services.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
