Billy James Allen

Billy James "BJ" Allen, Jr. 68, of Louisville, KY passed away on December 13, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was a graduate of Pleasure Ridge Park High School and then joined the Marine Corp serving in the Vietnam War. He was a heavy equipment operator for the Naval Ordinance Station and Fort Knox. BJ loved being outdoors and he adored his family with all his heart.
BJ is survived by his wife Lisa Allen; sons, Travis (Ashley) Allen and Nathan Allen; grandson, Clayton Allen; mother-in-law, Helen Cissell; brother-in-law, Troy Cissell and fur babies, Lincoln, Gucci and Chopper.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 5pm-7pm with a celebration of BJ's life beginning at 7pm.
