Regina Ann (Angel) Smith

Regina Ann (Angel) Smith, 83, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday evening, November 18, 2017. She retired from the Census Bureau in Jeffersonville and was a dedicated follower of the Jehovah Witness. Regina enjoyed gardening and genealogy. She also dearly loved her children and grandchildren.

She was born on April 1, 1934 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Curtis and Gladys (Becker) Angel. Regina was also preceded in death by her husband, James Smith.

Regina is survived by her children, Leonard Burns, Gary Burns (Maria), Curtis Burns, Kevin Smith, Cheryl Burns, Valeria Mullaney (Mike); siblings, Clara Combs, Howard Angel (Rafa), Ruth Lombari, Lloyd Angel, Sr.; grandchildren, Candy Curry, Mandy Koblischek, Paul Koblischek, Robert Burns, Amelia Burns, Ashley Ehret, Daniel Smith, Sarah Smith, Richard West; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Alex, Destiny, Anthony, Cecilia, Asher, Gabriel, Michelle, Greta; and great-great-grandson, Bryson.

Visitation will be from 5 PM to 8 PM on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Newcomer – Southern Indiana Chapel (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Cremation will follow according to Regina's wishes and she will be laid to rest privately with her husband in Portsmith, Ohio.
