William Evan Roberts, Jr.

William Evan "Bill" Roberts, Jr., 77, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on November 13, 2017. He retired from Ford Motor Company after 42 years, and served in the Air Force.
Bill was born on January 11, 1940 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Evan Roberts and Blanche Roberts. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Daniel Roberts, Paul Roberts, Emma Lou Applebee; and step-grandchild, Skyy Cotton.
He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Cotton; children, William "Evan" Roberts, II (Kathy), Rhonda Ray Gray (Rome); step-children, Bill Cotton (Lisa), Kevin Cotton (Eli), Alicia Cotton (Charlie); grandson, Nicholas Roberts; seven step-grandchildren and five great step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243), with a Celebration of Bill's life to start at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alley Cat Advocates (3044 Bardstown Rd, #204, Louisville, KY 40205)
