Susan Denise Mattingly

Susan Denise Mattingly, 59, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at St. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital.
She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on April 14, 1958 to the late Teddy Alexander and Anna Marie Willis-Smith. Susan was retired from the Jefferson County Public Schools where she worked as a Plant Operator.
In addition to her parents Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ray Mattingly; two brothers, James Smith and Johnny Smith.
Susan is survived by her beloved family including one son, David L. (Bethany Fagan) Mattingly; one daughter, Cynthia L. (Quintez Wright) Mattingly; seven grandchildren, Kyle Mattingly, Aubrey Mattingly and her mom Andrea Fullen, Mallory Mattingly, Jayzion Wright, Zaidyn Wright, Jordan Fullen, Payton Carson; three brothers, Butch Smith, Charlie Smith and Alex Smith; four sisters, Paula Davis, Donni Turner, Joan Meredith and Terri Davis as well as a host of other family members and friends all of whom will miss her dearly.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky 40272, burial will follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens - West.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 3-7 pm on Monday, October 9, 2017 at the funeral home.
