Paul Everett Poe

Paul Everett Poe, 82, of Louisville, KY, passed away on September 7, 2017. He was a member of Lake Dreamland Baptist Church and was an ordained Deacon. Paul was a Veteran with the U.S. Army and a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed cooking and was a loyal member of his church where he served on multiple committees.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Poe; parents, George and Viola Poe and brother, Don Poe.

Paul is survived by his children, Brent (Christine) Pendleton, Mike (Sue) Pendleton, Phil (Linda Wright) Pendleton and Chris (Amy) Pendleton; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; brothers, Bill Poe and Tom Poe and sister, Kay Coomes.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 2pm-6pm. A celebration of Paul's life will be Monday, September 11, 2017, at the chapel of the funeral home beginning at 1pm.

Entombment will follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens, West, 4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY.
