Keith Mcnew

Keith McNew, 74, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. Keith owned and operated O.K. Tree Service in Sellersburg and went on to retire from LG&E as a Lineman after over 30 years of service. He loved to work on cars and always said he was "the best mechanic this side of the Mississippi."

Keith was born on August 28, 1942, in Laurel County, Kentucky, to the late John and Charity (Keith) McNew.

Keith is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Louise (Lloyd) McNew; sons, Brian McNew (Amy), Kevin McNew (Amber), and Michael McNew; siblings, Joe McNew (Kathy), Sue Roby (David), Denise McCoy (Bob), Carlene Stewart (Barry), and Becky Austin (Robert); grandchilden, Lindsey (Zachery Wilmoth), Annie, Madelyn, Zachary, Logan, Megan, Lucas, Cody (Jasmine), Dylan, and Ryan; and great-grandchild, Emma.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, July 9, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Ceremony will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Silver Creek Cemetery in Sellersburg, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Keith's name may be made to Disabled American Veterans (412 North New Albany Street, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172).
