Linda Kay (Devine) Gambill

Linda Kay (Devine) Gambill, 70, of Borden, Indiana, passed away on Sunday afternoon, June 4, 2017. She was a retired secretary for the Indiana State Police. Linda was a professional singer and an extremely talented musician.

She was born on September 22, 1946, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Samuel Devine and Irene (Johnson) Grizzell. Linda was also preceded in death by her brother, Samuel Devine.

Linda is survived by her husband of over 52 years, Joseph Gambill; sons, Stephen Gambill (Kimberly) and Jeffrey Gambill (girlfriend and mother of Jadan, Angela Forman); siblings, James Devine (Dolores), Sherry Gardner (Dale), Susan Davis (Perry), and Joseph Grizzell (Sherrie); and grandchildren, Hannah, Joshua, and Jadan Gambill.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Thursday after 11:00 a.m. Her Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Friendship Cemetery in New Albany.
