Randall Bruce Hurst

Randall Bruce "Randy" Hurst, 70, of Palmyra, Indiana passed away on June 3, 2017. He loved camping, socializing and spending time with his family. Randy was an avid IU fan. He worked for Jeff Boat for over 30 years until his retirement.

Randy was born on October 26, 1946 to the late Tommy & Ruth (Mull) Hurst. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Wayne, Tommy, Glen and Nobel Hurst.

He is survived by his wife, Roberta (Keehn) Hurst; children, Cary Joe Hurst (Carol) and Shaun Hurst; step-children, Kelly Joe Spainhour (Carol) and Robin White (Jeff); brothers, Eldon Hurst (Roseanne) and David Hurst (Trudy); sisters, Virginia Burns and Beulah Boling; 12 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3 PM to 8 PM on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM at the funeral home with burial to follow at Daisy Hill Cemetery.
