Larry W. Stansberry, 68, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017. He was born in New Albany, Indiana on December 28, 1948 to the late Marshall Lee Stansberry and Elizabeth Fromme. He was veteran in the United States Army and was retired from American Transmission. Larry was a member of the VFW Post 3281.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his step mother, Edith Stansberry; and a sister, Roseanne Fromme.
Larry is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Carolyn Stansberry; children, William Chambers, Sean Martin (Tina) Stansberry, Damon Arnold, David Enlow and Steven Enlow; grandchildren, Tyler Stansberry, D.J. Chambers, Dakota Arnold, Brooklyn Enlow and Josie Arnold; siblings, Linda (Bob) Stansberry-Poindexter, Rebecca (Steve) Fromme, Joseph Fromme and Michael Fromme; a dear uncle, Bob (Elaine) Fromme; and a host of other family members and friends.
A service to celebrate his life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway with burial to follow in Kraft Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
