Michael Lee Logsdon

Michael Lee Logsdon, 58, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2017. He was a jack of all trades that was capable of fixing anything. Mike took great pride in himself and all that he did. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and also listening to music.

He was born on June 7, 1958, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Bruce and Samantha (Elkins) Logsdon. Mike is survived by his loving fiancée, Shelia Voll; sister, Judy Logsdon; children, Amy Gregory (Josh), Michael Salyer, Ricky Terry, and Jenny Wheeler (Eddie); nieces and nephews, Holly Soto, Stephanie Muse, Jennifer Jones, Heather Butler, and Tracy, Scott, Zachary, and Kyle Peerce; and 10 grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with his Funeral Service taking place at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in New Albany.

The family requests that contributions in Michael's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105).
