Mary Josephine Arndt

Mary Josephine Arndt, 83, of Fern Creek, KY was born to the late Alfred & Mamie Keltner on April 26, 1933 in Green County, KY. She went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 in Louisville, KY, while surrounded by her loved ones.

She had varied professions, including 16 years with Suburban Hospital, and was a member of Southeast Christian Church.

Among those who preceded her in death are her husband, Hans B. Arndt; son, Dennis Ray Cox; step-mom, Norene Keltner; and nephew, James E. Cox.

She leaves to cherish her memory, many loved ones, including her beloved twin sister, Sarah Norene Cox; nephew, Elvin Allen Cox; niece, Betty Sue Brown (Kenney), great-nieces and nephews, Gina Housley, Pam Clayburn, Kathy Cox, Mikey Cox, Cristal Bensel, Allen Cox, James Cox, James Barrett Cox, Brittany Cox, Kenney Brown III, Amanda Branham, Corey Housley, Alyssa Housley, Clarissa Hart, Eric Clayburn, Jody Cox, Anthony Grigsby, Jessica Lynch, Amber Cox, Michael Cox, Josie Bensel, Laynie Cox, Peyton Knox, Cameron Brown, Cole Brown, Mia Brown; and a host of extended family and friends.

Her visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Southeast Christian Church, with her funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. at church. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Park.
