Michael W. "Mike" Thompson, 59, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on February 5, 2017. He worked in HVAC and maintenance for years.
Michael was born on October 13, 1957, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Tilden and Imogene (Dunn) Thompson. He was also preceded in death by his infant sister, Kathy Louise Thompson; nephew, Kevin Lawrence Kleier; and his faithful companion, Bandit.
Michael is survived by his sisters, Donna Liebert (Bill) and Sherry Bowman (Joe); nieces and nephews, Christie Blain (Kelly), Kim Neafus, Brandon Liebert (Alicia), Greg Liebert, Randy Kleier (Amanda), and Angela Liebert; 7 great-nieces and great-nephews and 1 on the way; and a host of relatives and friends
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, February 10, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272). His Funeral Ceremony will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery (4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40213).
