Arthur Willard Korson, 87, of Shelbyville, Kentucky passed away on December 23, 2016.
Art retired from AnaMag after 30 plus years of service. He served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Art will be always be remembered as a loving husband, dedicated "Pops", and mentor to his children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters.
He was born on November 8, 1929 in Sutton Bay, Michigan to the late Willard and Ludmilla Korson. He was also preceded in death by his sister Marty (Korson) Moran.
Art is survived by his wife Patricia Korson, son Gregory Gerard Korson (Shar), daughter, Lynne Marie Burke (Alan), son Jerome Arthur Korson (Jamie), son, David Vincent Korson (Mary Jeanne), son, Christopher Louis Korson (Julie), ten grandchildren, five brothers and five sisters.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 10:00 am at Church of the Epiphany 914 Old Harrods Creek Road Louisville, Kentucky 40223, with a rosary service prior at 9:30am.
