Gary Lamont Hughes, 61, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016.
He was a member of St. Stephen Baptist Church and was an employee of the Veterans Administration Hospital.
Gary is survived by his devoted wife of 26 years, Caroline Hughes; three siblings, Vernon L. Hughes, Benita J. Hughes, Russell L. Hughes; loving aunts, Betty J. Harbison, Phyllis A. Bryant, Lillie Wingate; Uncles David Harbison, Furches L. Wingate; three children Aisha Tisdale, Dearl Hampton, Sheronda R. Holden; Godson, Cortez Hampton; Grandchildren Ciera Tisdale, A'Janae Newcomb, A'Lajia Holden,; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation services starts at 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at St. Stephen Baptist Church (1018 South 15th Street, Louisville, Ky. 40210). His Funeral Ceremony will follow at 1:00 pm at St. Stephen Church, with burial to follow at Green Meadows Memorial Cemetery (3800 Shanks Lane, Louisville, Ky. 40216).
Memorial donations may be made in Gary's name to (St. Stephen Baptist Church Sunday School Program), Louisville, Ky.
