King, Tony Howard, 65, of Crestwood, Kentucky passed away on August 27, 2016.
Tony was born on April 16, 1951 in Vincennes, Indiana. He started his calling in law enforcement in 1973 with the Indianapolis Police Department. In 1978, Tony began his career with Drug Enforcement Administration; where he worked until his retirement in December 2007. Tony is a Major with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office and is a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.
Tony is survived by his parents, Gene and Barbara King along with his loving wife, Debbie King; children, Toby King (Lori), Collin King (Tonya) and Rachael Jenkins (Bryan); grandchildren, Nicole, Grant, Chloe, Jacob, Connor, Dylan, Emma, Ava, and Grace; siblings, Randy King (Tracy), Kevin King, and Kristie Page (John); and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243). A memorial service to honor the life of Tony will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Southeast Christian Church (920 Blankenbaker Pkwy, Louisville, KY 40243).
In lieu of flowers, his family is requesting memorial donations be made to Supporting Heroes in honor of Tony.
