Will I. Collins, 62, passed away on August 7, 2016 at his home, in Greenville, Indiana. Will was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on December 2, 1953 to Billy and Mildred (Fant) Collins. He retired from Ford Motor Company after 30+ years. Will was a member of the American Legion Post #42, the UAW, and a U.S. Air Force Vietnam veteran. Will enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting, and golfing.
Along with his parents, Will was preceded in death by his son, David Collins, and sister, Pam Henize. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Susan Collins; his son, Daniel Collins (Allison); siblings, Bobby Collins, and Lethia Collins (Frank); and three grandchildren, Ethan, Megan, Dylan.
His visitation will be on Friday, August 12, 2016, from 2:30 to 6 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150) with his Funeral Service to follow at 6 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Operation Comfort Warriors in care of the American Legion Post #42 (4530 Paoli Pike, Floyds Knobs, IN 47119).
