John W. Williams

November 9, 1952 — August 5, 2016

John W. Williams, 63, passed away on August 5, 2016. He retired from Colgate Palmolive. John was a Vietnam Veteran who proudly served his country and retired after 24 years of military service. He was a 33rd degree Mason, he was a member of the Shriners and Scottish Rites. Above all else John loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Williams.

John was survived by his wife, Connie Williams; daughters, Rachel (Bill) Hughes, Sherri (Yesenia) Williams and Ryann Williams; grandchildren, Lauren and Trevor; brother, Bill (Karla) Williams; numerous nieces and nephews and aunt, Dorothy Baker.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 10, 2016, from 1pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway) with a Masonic Service beginning at 7pm. A celebration of John's life will be Thursday, August 11, 2016, beginning at 11am at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery - Central, 2501 N Dixie Blvd Radcliff, KY.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to the charity of your choice.
