May 26, 1933 — July 19, 2016

Anthony J. "Tony" Loftus, 83, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on July 19, 2016. Tony was a member of the Knights of Columbus in New Albany, the American Legion Post #28, and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army who served in the Korean War.

Tony is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Hilda (Bube) Loftus; brother, Tom Loftus; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard & Kathryn (Kasper) Loftus; brother, F. Jerry Loftus; sisters, Mary Stahnke & Patricia Loftus.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 22, 2016 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 10 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (1752 Scheller Lane, New Albany, IN 47150) with entombment to follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in New Albany.

Memorial contributions in Tony's name can be made to Mass of the Air (508 Breckenridge Lane, Louisville, KY 40207).
