Knight, Kathy "Minnie", 58, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky passed away on June 16, 2016.
Kathy was born on October 17, 1957, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Ernest and Margaret Ray. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, David L. Ray, Nada (Ray) Smith, Leila McGee, Clifford L. Ray; two grandsons, Devin Knight and Vincent Manley.
She is survived by her loving husband, Danny Knight; and her beloved dog, Phoebe; children, David Knight (Natosha), April Knight, Nicole Bohannon (Earl); siblings, Helen Boyd (Tim), Valarie Benzinger (Andy), Ernest Lee Ray (Julie), Margaret Diane O'Daniel, Brian Wesley Ray (Patty); grandchildren, Nathaniel Knight, Alexander Weed, Jesse Mora, Dakota Holt, Daniel Holt, Brittany Holt, Steven Bohannon, Krystalynn Bohannon, Katelyn Bohannon; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Monday, June 20, 2016 from 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home-Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272), and visitation will resume on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 10 a.m. - 6:30 p.m., with a celebration of Kathy's life to start at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family of Kathy Knight, C/O Danny Knight.
