Margaret French, 78, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at her home. She was born in Augusta, Georgia on July 18, 1937 to the late Frank and Maude Dunlap. She was member of Lifeline Temple COGIC for over 50 years. She was local Sunday School Superintendent, Sunshine Band President, Usher, Sang in the local Choir, Hospitality, Sewing Circle, Special Programs Committee, Sunday School Teacher, Pastors Aide, Templetts Singing Group and District #3 Missionary.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two sons, George F. Williams and James Carl Williams; two brothers and six sisters.
Margaret is survived by her children, Johnny Williams, Joyce T. Williams, Bernice F. Slack (Marvin); a brother, Frank Williams, Jr.; a sister, Lottie Wright; thirteen grandchildren including Martinus "Marty" Williams who was her first grandchild; 21 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral Services will be conducted at Noon on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Lifeline Temple Church Of God In Christ with burial to follow in North Hardin Memorial Gardens. Repast will follow the burial at the church fellowship hall. Visitation will be from 6-9 on Friday at the church. Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel in Charge of Arrangements.
