Carroll Mae Hess
July 18, 1937 — April 21, 2016
Carroll Mae Hess went to join her Heavenly Father this past Thursday, April 21, 2016. She was known for her loving spirit and big heart. She joined several of her family, including her parents, 10 of her 13 siblings, a daughter, a granddaughter, and 2 loving husbands.
She was survived by 3 siblings, Arnold Whittaker, Mary Sullivan, and Sharon Hatchell; 4 children, Vernon Starr, Anna (David) Ford, Robert Starr, and Rita (Robert) Morgan; 7 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
Carroll's physical family and church family brought joy and laughter throughout her years on this side of Heaven.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 24th, 2016 from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Louisville East Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville). Her Funeral Ceremony will be on Monday, April 25th, 2016 at 10:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home Louisville East Chapel with burial to follow at Hopewell Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the National Meningitis Association.
