Joshua Simpson

Joshua Simpson, 27, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on April 13, 2016. He worked as a mechanic for Rumpke and was a dedicated and loving father, son, fiancé, brother, nephew, and grandson. Josh loved to fish, was an outdoorsman, and played football at Fern Creek High School and Kentucky State University.

Joshua was born on May 7, 1988 in Lexington, Kentucky to the late Earl Simpson Jr. and Felicia Simpson. He was also preceded in death by his grandfather, Clifton Rogers and cousin Ozzie Simpson.

Joshua is survived by his fiancé, Tiffany Renee Davis, daughters, Charlize Natalia Simpson, Prezley Alice Simpson, mother Felicia Simpson, brothers Rimone Simpson and Nicholas Starks, aunts Anita Grant (Gerald), Crystal Simpson, Vanda Brock (Bobby), great aunt, Carrie Taylor, uncle Claude Simpson, grandparents Wanda Simpson and Earl Simpson, Sr. (Lisa Brown) niece, Aydan Brohm and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday, April 17, 2016 and from 9:00am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00am on Monday, April 18, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville 40243)

Memorial contributions may be made to the family for his children in the name of Tiffany Renee Davis.
