Jimmy Bowen, 78, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on April 12, 2016. He retired from the U.S. Air Force and the ATF Law Enforcement. He was a member of the American Legion, and of Southeast Christian Church.
Jimmy was born on October 22, 1937, Waycross, Georgia to the late W. James and Myrtle (Purcell) Bowen.
Jimmy is survived by his Wife of 56 years, Dell (Wilson) Bowen; children, Dr. Jimmy Dayland Bowen (Kelly), William Tay Bowen (Melissa), and Mari Ann Bowen Hermann (Robert); grandkids, Kelson Reid Bowen, Chase London Bowen, Aris Ralph Bowen, Nicole Marie (Luke McLearen, Sydney Leigh Sontag, Tierney Jade Hermann, and Erica Peyton Hermann; great-grandson, Caleb Jackson McLearen.
