June 11, 1921 — April 6, 2016

Dale Crowe, 94, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2016. He was a proud veteran of The United States Army who served as a Platoon Sergeant during World War II. Dale was a member of Walnut Ridge Baptist Church in Jeffersonville.

Dale was born on June 11, 1921 in Orange County, IN to the late Delbert M. & Ida E. (King) Crowe. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings, Lois Crowe, Ruby Newlin, Dean Crowe, & Ruth Jones.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 70 years, JoAnn (Mullins) Crowe; daughters, Gladys Morgan (Paul), Connie Gewirtz (Mike), & Dalene Lanum (Kent); grandchildren, Lisa Murzynski (Karl), Kim Reynolds (Steve), Kris Schnitker (Brad), Rachel Green (Josh), Emily Gewirtz, & Reagan Lanum; & 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 PM, Friday, April 8, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will take place at 10 AM on Saturday at the funeral home with burial and military honors to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery.
