Michael Newland Gullett

Michael Newland Gullett, 71, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2016. He was a retired insurance salesman. Mike was an avid reader, enjoyed playing golf, and loved to spend mornings with his buddies at Vic's.

He was born on October 10, 1944 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Edward Gullett and Betty (Borden) Gullett Evans. He was also preceded in death by his son, Edward "Hunter" Gullett.

Mike is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carol (Baumann) Gullett; daughter, Melissa Morman (John); grandsons, Brandon Morman (Andrea), Zack Morman; granddaughter, Samantha Gullett; brothers, Terry Evans, David Evans, Mark Evans (Pam); sister, Deidra Fein; and his beloved pet, Gracie.

Cremation was chosen following Mike's wishes. A Memorial Service will take place at 6 PM Friday, May 13, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Contributions in Mike's memory may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
